Welcome
to a place where the smell of local cuisine reminds you of grandma's
home cooked meals and don't forget the infamous Pennsylvania Dutch
shoo-fly pie...a place where the people are friendly and the smiles
are free and family is the center of life.
The
Dutch Family Diner is located in the heart of Pennsylvania's Amish
country. The Diner started out as produce and flower stand at the
edge of town. My Great Grandfather
brought
in fresh
flowers
in the spring and fall, produce in the summer and baked goods during
the colder months for the city folks to buy.
My grandparents began
selling breakfast and lunch and dinner to folks who worked in the
factories and other
business
in
the area
and named it the Dutch Family Diner.
 My
family has been operating the Diner ever since 1918. We have the
best in both american and authentic Lancaster county foods. From
our family
to yours - we welcome you to come on down for some old-fashioned
face-to-face family gathering and fun!
